Soooo…my first date/state is this weekend! This feat is ambitious, but I’m excited to stop talking about it and put it into action. Starting this blog took a lot of courage for me. I’m pretty open about my life with my friends, but to give anyone access to read about it is pretty scary. Â
As I have grown up I have constantly changed and grown it a different woman. I forced myself to step out of my comfort zone and this blog is yet another example. When I thought about starting a blog I had so many doubts. I could encounter trolls or receive negative judgements from people. Receiving encouragement and validation that I this is a good idea has helped me to continue working to make this happen. When I found a sweet guy to plan my first trip it took me some time to setting plans, but when I booked my Airbnb it was serendipitous.
When I was looking for a place to stay in Denver, Colorado I was really just looking for the cheapest most appealing place. I found over 20 possible homes raging from $40 – $120 a night and of all those homes I picked Annabelle and Christian’s. As soon as I submitted my credit card information, I received a message from the owners and a smile swept across my face. The first message told me a little about them:
You can check out their website for yourself, but this couple is such an inspiration for me. They met on a dating app, fell in love, and now travel and go on adventures together. This is the kind of relationship I yearn for and the fact that I booked their home on my first trip is serendipity. I believe everything happens for a reason and purchasing this Airbnb gives me inspiration to continue my travel/dating blog and hopefully find a relationship like Annabelle and Christian.
OMG! A travel/dating Blog. What a marvelous idea! I can’t wait to read about your trips and dates. This is oh so exciting. Truly love this idea.
Thank you đŸ™‚
