3 Craziest Places I Got Someone’s Number

During myTexas trip, two airport workers asked for my number while I walked to my gate. These encounters reminded me of the random places I got a guy’s number. These days we meet everyone online. Whether we are swiping on a dating app or slide in someone’s DM. I think we can all appreciate anytime a cute person compliments or asks for our number in real life. I try and do it myself sometimes. Read the three craziest places I have got a guy’s number.

Court

I was on my way to court to pay for a traffic ticket. Since I was running late, I was driving pretty fast. Driving so fast that I was pulled over by a cop. I explained that to him and even balled out crying, but he still gave me a ticket. This morning was already off to a bad start. When I arrived at court, I realized this would be an all-day accord. This was not my first ticket, but I usually just pay them off, so being in court for a ticket was completely new to me. As hours passed by, I finally got called into the smaller court to talk to a judge. They finally called my name and when I walk to front a cute white guy with glasses caught my eye. We made eyes and smiled at each other. After speaking with the judge I got my ticket payment lowered. My day was definitely getting better.

As I walked out of the small room me and the cute guy made eyes again. I paid for my ticket and before I left I told the security guard that I was interested in that guy. I was being a little shy and asked the security guard to give the guy my number. He responded saying I could do it myself. I was a little disappointed that he said no, but I thought I might as well. Hastily I pulled a paper out from my agenda and wrote down my number quickly. I hurried to give the guy my number and he was talking to someone so I gave him the number and walked away. It was funny because he said ‘thank you’ as if he knew what was on the paper.

A Drive-Thru

Leaving my number on a receipt in a resteraunt, is on my list of things to do. I have yet to meet a waiter that I want to do that for, but maybe one day I will. I have met someone in the drive thru of a KFC though. While I was in college and ordered the Famous Bowl with a Lemonade. I rolled up to the drive- thru and just paid the guy without paying in real attention to him. I looked up and saw this cute light skinned guy with big curly hair, give me my food and drink. He proceeded to tell me he gave me a large drink instead of a small. I smiled and said thank you and drove off. I started thinking…’huh that guy was cute’. When I arrived at my dorm and ate my food and kept thinking damn, I wish I said more than thank you to him. I looked at my receipt and saw his name typed across the top.

Refusing to live with any regrets, I called KFC and asked for Kevin. I waited a while they called him to phone and answered. I explained who I was and the type of car I was driving. Kevin remembered me and was sunrises, but happy I called. I texted the number he gave me and waited to hear from him after he got off of work.

My Car

Yes, you can meet someone in your car lol. One day last summer I was driving around and running errands with my sister. As I stopped at a stoplight, me and my sister were talking, but through the side of my eye I saw a person trying to get my attention. I tried to ignore, but he kept asking me to roll down my window. My sister convinced me to do it and immediately told me to take down his number. He was a nice looking black guy, but I was skeptical. It couldn’t hurt so I figured hey, why not?

As soon as he started giving me his number the light turns green! My sister was typing the number in my phone and I start slowly driving. He did the same. I kept thinking how ridiculous it was, but my sister finisher typing his number in my phone. He told me to text and we both sped up to a normal speed.

I texted, talked on the phone, and met up with all of these guys after exchanging numbers. 2 out 3 of these scenarios started off with me being bold and approaching a guy. We obviously weren’t a match, but I’m glad I did it. I think we all get in the habit of thinking we can only meet people online or at the bar. The dating pool is so much bigger than that though. If you see a cute person at any point in your life try and be bold and give them your number. If you aren’t a match, you at least got practice to talk to the next attractive person you see. 😉
